  Player Development Summit makes debut prior to Casino Marketing Conference

RENO (June 7, 2007) – The fourth annual Casino Marketing Conference, set for July 17-19 at Paris Las Vegas, will be preceded on July 17 by the new Player Development Summit, which addresses one of the hottest topics in the gaming industry today. The conferences are co-produced by Raving Consulting and Ascend Media Gaming Group.

Player Development Summit is a must-attend event for senior level player development, marketing and operations executives. It will explore such topics as the value of junket reps, where premium players may still profitably be found, how to tap into ethnic markets, when player development crosses ethical boundaries, and how to decide what emphasis should be placed on acquisition, retention, reactivation or growth in player development efforts.

The Summit’s keynote luncheon address features gambling humorist Max Rubin, a 35-year casino veteran, gaming consultant and former professional gambler who has enlightened and amused millions of readers, television viewers and live spectators with his unique insights into the psychology of gamblers and the casinos that serve them.
